This helicopter was moved to Uetersen/ Heist (EDHE) in Schleswig Holstein, located on the military airfield about 30 km west of Hamburg, where it was preserved with the Luftwaffen Museum since ?
This museum was founded in 1956 on a private basis, with the first aircraft arriving in the 1960s. In the early 1970's two hangars at Uetersen were provided to the museum. This museum was a part of the Bundeswehr and has been set under the command of the Militärgeschichtliches Forschungsamt (MGFA) at Freiburg from 1987.
During 2005 stored as owned by the Luftwaffen Museum der Bundeswehr in Berlin Gatow since ? inside Hangar 3 as preserved. Moved into Hangar 7 for public viewing by 2006.
This museum had a change of name to the Militär Historisches Museum (MHM) Berlin Gatow since October 1, 2011.
